Oh God, I actually want to watch tonight's episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 where they get a divorce. And I loathe myself for that. Haven't watched the show since it became a giant spectacle, but dammit, I want to. Poor exploited kids :(

And that's all I'm going to say. Well, that, and I have ZERO tolerance for lying and manipulation. Let me just put that out there. So uh, word to the wise, for the future.

It's storming, for sure, today. And tornado-ing. Of which I'm not a fan. It's the one nature disaster that really scares me, and the main reason I have a basement. The emergency broadcast came over the radio today for tornado warnings nearish to my house. And man, the sky was crazy and dark and then it got bright and sunny, and now it is again

So, looking back on it, staying home today was not the best of plans. You'd think, oh, nice, I'd get to be around my husband before I don't see him tonight, but no, instead, it's just dragging out my anticipation of him leaving. Because my brain really does like to torture me ( Read more... )

My husband starts summer classes tomorrow, which means I won't see him Monday-Thursday for 6 weeks. That's the problem with night classes...I work 7am - 4pm, so generally, he leaves for class before I get home, he gets back after I go to sleep, and I leave the next morning before he's awake. I was a nice wife today. The gift I ordered (the photos I linked earlier) arrived WAY ahead of schedule (as in, a couple of days vs. a couple of weeks). Went out to get them framed as I wasn't paying the obscene amount of money that the website wanted to frame them.
